Items Description

AKG Lyra offers high-definition audio, powerful versatility, and superb simplicity while staying stylish for on-screen appearances. 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion, a built-in shockmount, and internal diffusion yield pristine sonic quality for your recordings, whether you're creating online content, podcasting, vlogging, live streaming, or producing music.

Its proprietary Adaptive Capsule Array uses four condenser capsules to give you four user-friendly capture modes - front, front and back, tight stereo, and wide stereo—to handle scenarios such as voiceovers, two-person podcasts, side-by-side interviews, studio/live performances, and more. Just connect the Lyra to your Mac/Windows computer or iOS/Android mobile device, and plug in headphones to the 3.5mm port on the bottom of the Lyra; its plug-and-play setup means that there are no drivers to install or software settings to configure.

Great mic with a couple user interface issues.

This thing is the best USB mic i’ve ever owned sound quality wise. However, the volume knob on the mic doesnt have any reference marks and that sucks

Worked perfectly!

I’m an opera singer with a large Soprano voice. Most mics clip and overload even turned way down. Especially in my higher range. Been using this a few weeks now for voice lessons on Zoom and to record videos. I’m super impressed. I got this because it was impossible to get a Yeti, which is what everyone else recommended. But I’m thrilled with this mic. I recommend it highly.

Just what I was looking for!

The Abelton software that came with the mic was a big program and therefore difficult to download and install. Once installed it worked well. I was not used to DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software and was expecting my "save as" to be a copy of what I recorded. This is not the case. All you are saving is a roadmap to hidden files that can then be "exported" to an audio file. Once that mystery was solved, I was able to make WAV, FLAC, and MP3 audio files.

Easy setup. Very clear sound.

I was looking for a simple and easy to use microphone for use during my online classes. I've found the AKG a very good option that has helped my students hear me more clearly - without the noises from the surroundings. The build quality of the microphone is decent - and it comes with a stand - so that is definitely helpful. I found the USB-C connection also useful - as I did not need to use any converters (which can lead to signal loss). I've found the Lyra quite useful so far and hope it continues to work well.
